Taylor Brandtonies, O.D.

Taylor Brandtonies is an optometrist with expertise in primary eye care, with a passion for ocular surface and dry eye disease.             

Dr. Brandtonies earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University, where she received multiple academic honors, including the Low Vision Honors Award and the Ocular Disease Management Honors Award. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from the University of Pittsburgh.

As part of her clinical training, she completed externships at The Eye Institute in Philadelphia, the Durham VA Medical Center in North Carolina, MyEyeDr in Raleigh, and West Penn Eye Associates in Pittsburgh, gaining broad experience across primary and medical eye care settings. Dr. Brandtonies specializes in treating complex dry eye conditions using advanced modalities such as Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) therapy, thermal gland expression, AmnioGraft applications, and punctal plug placement.

Outside the clinic, she enjoys hiking, cooking, and traveling.
