North Park Ophthalmology (NPO) is pleased to welcome optometrist Dr. Taylor Brandtonies to our team of dedicated specialists.
An expert in both primary and advanced eye care, Dr. Brandtonies specializes in ocular surface disease and dry eye management, offering treatments such as Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) therapy, thermal gland expression, AmnioGraft applications and punctal plug placement. She also has experience in managing glaucoma, diabetic and hypertensive retinopathy and other complex ocular conditions.
Dr. Brandtonies earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University, where she received academic honors in low vision and ocular disease management. Her clinical training includes externships at The Eye Institute in Philadelphia, the Durham VA Medical Center in North Carolina, MyEyeDr in Raleigh and West Penn Eye Associates in Pittsburgh.
She has developed a strong foundation in comprehensive, patient-centered care, blending advanced clinical skills with a whole-patient approach to ocular health. She also volunteers with Remote Area Medical, helping to provide essential vision services to underserved communities.
